Stellarium - view the night sky from the comfort of your home

Whether you're a fan of astronomy have a hard life, or someone who just wants an idea of what the constellations, Stellarium is an amazing tool for observing the night sky in the comfort of your home .

Three years ago we shared with you Stellarium. Since then, the program capacity increased.

In its simplest form, Stellarium displays the night sky as seen from around the world. Delving into the most advanced features that can make all sorts of really interesting things, like see the constellations from a dozen different cultures, the Pegasus of Greek mythology is the turtle in the tradition of Navajo.

You can see the rotation of stars in real-time monitoring of atmospheric conditions, such as zoom using a powerful telescope, and layering a lot of information about the night sky as the names of stars, the orbits of the planets, and illustrations of the constellations.

If you use Stellarium in your laptop to complete their stargazing, you can activate a night mode which dims the luster and sample menus in a night view of the conservation of red. Stellarium is an open source tool that can display 210 million stars and is available for Linux, Mac and Windows.
